In 2010 HEKLA Group divided the auto- and machinery-division. HEKLA Machinery becomes KLETTUR - Sales and Service Company.

The Machinery Division offers it´s Customers a full line of CATERPILLAR Machinery, including Construction Equipment, Lift Trucks, Marine Engines and Generator Sets, SCANIA Trucks and Buses, HIAB Cranes, MULTILIFT Hooklifts, SÖRLING Truck Bodies and Trailers, GOODYEAR Tires, COMBILIFT and AISLE MASTER Lift Trucks, MaK Marine Engines, SCANA VOLDA Marine Transmissions and Propeller Equipment, as well as Equipment from INGERSOLL RAND, GJERSTAD, BITELLI, ELM, JOAB, MÄHLERS, SUNFAB, SALA KAROSS, SCANA STEEL, KIITOKORI, LAXO, TRUX, PIAA, KOBELT, FERNSTRUM, DEEP SEA SEALS, and RUBBER DESIGN.
The Machinery Division has moved to a new specialized Sales and Service Center which is located in Klettagardar Reykjavik. This new Sales and Service Center has enabled us to improve even further and hopefully reach our goals and set new ones.
HEKLA was founded in the year 1933, and was one of the oldest Companies in Iceland supplying and servicing the Icelandic Industries.
HEKLA was the CATERPILLAR Dealer in Iceland since 1947 and during that time has played a big role in supplying the Industries of Iceland with Equipment and Service, - be it the Construction or Marine Industry. In the year 1995 HEKLA was appointed Importer/Dealer for SCANIA, enabling us to offer a wide range of Trucks and Buses.
KLETTUR Sales and Service will continue that legacy and continue to serve our coustomer well.

Import of cars from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation started and this year HEKLA was also appointed Dealer for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. MHI Turbines are today in operation at two of Icelands largest Geothermal Power Plants. |
